The case, the ABC company has its own policy/guidelines that all newly hired employees "casual contract for 5 months" shall have his/her first  1-month evaluation. ABC has its own KPI based from their respective JDs.

Question: Can ABC company dismiss a casual employee based from his/her (poor performance) first month performance evaluation?

Whats the minimum notice period of ending his/her casual contract? Could it be effective immediately?

Thank you!

Assuming that they are casual employees, they are devoid of security of tenure, thus, can be terminated even when the work has not yet been finished and even without a cause. They do not enjoy benefits provided by law to those regular employees. As such, even without the need of a KPI, they can be terminated.
