Contract bond

Hi po Atty I would like to seek legal advices regarding my employment contract. I applied as a school nurse and on that day na nagpass ako ng resume they offered me to sign the contract. Stipulated on my contract that I have to work for 1 year with the school with 12,000 monthly salary. The inclusive dates indicated is from June 2016 to March 2017. If di ko natapos yong contract I will pay the company with 50, 000. I am planning na wag na pong ituloy ang work with them.. Is this contract po ba valid even if di pa ko nag umpisa at nagpasa ng requirements? Would they go after me and incur damages? Please pahelp po Atty. Thank you and God bless you.

Kung pumirma ka na, yes, valid ang contract.

Not necessarily. Verify what the 50k is for? Check your contract.

Because if they will ask you to pay for that amount, they would have to file a separate civil action for money claims in the regular courts. For this matter, they would have to prove that they are entitled to such amount.

Assuming that such amount is for the 'damages' that the employer 'suffered', it would have to prove it.

Depende, kung tatanggalin ka sa paraan na inilahad nakalagay sa Labor Code at dumaan sa tamang proseso ay wala kang makukuha, pero depende pa din.
