nag-work po yung husband ko sa isang company for almost 3 years, last feb 2013 nagpaalam sya na uuwi sa province kaya 1 week syang hindi makakapasok. hindi po agad sya nkauwi after 1 week pero nagsabi sya sa boss nya na hindi pa sya makakapasok, ang sabi sa kanya hindi na sya mahihintay kaya maghahanap na sila ng kapalit nya. ngayon po kailangan nya ng certificate of employment dahil hinahanap po sa bago nyang trabaho. ask ko po if may possibility na hindi sya bigyan nun sa dating company na pinasukan nya? need ko po ng answer asap. salamat po.

imo, there is no legal right to a certificate of employment. he should explain the situation to his new employer.

He need himself be cleared first from previous company. Fulfill his obligations so that employer might release his COE.

dati nung nag-resign ako sa prev company ko, may nakasabay ako na kumukuha rin ng COE, at yung status ng employment nya ay "Terminated".. tapos may isa syang form na hawak tapos may check box options kung yung employment status eh "terminated", "awol", "resign".. hinde ko sure kung clearance form yun pero eventually nabigyan sya ng COE.. nasabi ko sa sarili ko, pwede pala yun! Pwede ba talaga yun attyLL?
