Arresto Menor

Hi! According to my contract, I have to pay 216,000, which is equivalent to my one year salary kapag nag-resign po ako bago ako mag-1 year sa company. Please advise.

my position is that this "employee bond" is not illegal per se. however, the company has to prove the damages that it incurred to justify the amount of the bond.

if you refuse to pay, the consequence will be that you may not get your last pay, certificate of employment. IMO, 1 year salary is excessive. good luck.
