Dear Sir,

I was imprisoned in Dubai for credit card problem since I lost my Job. After my release I got a police clearance and cleared to leave Dubai. I arrived in the Philippines last May 2011. This morning I renewed my NBI clearance and was asked to collect after 15 days. Would my case in Dubai affect my clearance. If I still have other credit card issue in Dubai can they file a case against me here in the Philippines? I have check in OFW forum and there are thousand who run away from the debts abroad especially middle east. I need my NBI clearance for local employment for the mean time. Please advice what can collection agency do? can they really file a case against me in my home country (the amount in the credit cards is less than 100thousand and it's a local bank in Dubai.)Thanks and best regards!

how about let's wait first for your clearance to come out. come back if there's a case filed against you.
