Inpiad credit card abroad

Good evening Atty,

I just want to consult about my unpaid credit cards abroad since 2008. I received notice from a local outsourcing company about my unpaid credit cards and went to their office. I have sent a letter to the bank since 2008 and requested to cancel the cards and advised them I cannot settle the the matter due to loss of employment and suffering from diabetes with medical certificate from my doctor as I have furnished them with a copy.

Moreover, I consulted the office of OWWA legal assistance unit and was advised that the bank cannot file case against me since the matter happened outside our country and there was no extraterritoriality exist with that country. It will be a great distruction in my life if the bank insist me to settle this wherein I have no more means of actual income and unqualified to be employed due to age level and suffering from the disease.

Please advise what to do, as I am always
in stress and tension causing abnormal blood pressure.

make your offer to the bank. all you can do is keep negotiating with them. but you can also limit how they can communicate with you.
