asking for advice about muslim law

Have a pleasant morning to every one..im asking advice about muslim law..i have a friend that her husband cheating or ill say napakasama nya talga sa kabila ng pagpapakahirap ng friend ko sa abroad para sa pamilya nagawa pa nya lukuhin..make the story short ngpasakal ang lalaki sa iba kahit alam nyang kasal na sya..ang ginawa po nila ng babae nya nagpaconvert sa islam ung guy to safe para di sya makasuhan ng bigamy ngpakasal sa church at muslim…but we found out nang nagpakasal sila sa church ng babae ay di pa converted sa islam ung lalaki ..may pananagutan parin ba ang lalaki or even ung babae kasi po alam naman ng babae na may asawa na ung lalaki…pls help po any idea of this from any body?

Bigamy: the crime committed by a married person who contracts a second or subsequent marriage before the first has been legally dissolved or before the absent spouse had been declared presumptively dead.

kung alam nung 2nd wife na married na yung guy both of them a liable for bigamy but proofs must be provided also.

though he converted to islam already but both of his marriage were contracted before he became a muslim he is still liable to bigamy. baka pa nga makasuhan pa nga yan sya ng mga taga muslim kasi ginamit lang nya yung religion kasi ayaw nya makasuhan ng bigamy. he is not really believing their faith.

Thanks so much roj for sharing your worrd pwede kaya na mismo friend ko personaly mgpunta dun kun san man pwede idulog to verify the status of his husband we have no idea talga about the muslim law…only the document that my friend have is mc from nso w/c stated is the guy is still single before their marriage and iba na religion nya at addres na ginamit….any idea po where going to ask for help about muslim community here in manila or they have entertain po kaya like this matter ..

get a copy of their marriage contract and check if on the date they were married, was he already a muslim and what religion did he declare

maari po bang mismo freind ko pumunta dun sa islam community para maverify talga tama convertion nila kc baka fake ung pinakita paper na converted na ung guy..san po pinakamalapit na isla community d2 na maaring makatulong sa ganito kaso? nais din po sna malaman ng freind ko ano mga karapatan nya or pwede ba ipawalang bisa ang kasal ng asawa nya sa islam?

get a copy first of the marriage certificate and see what religion was declared.
