former filipino spouses, now americans & divorced who need annulment in PI

hello! i and my ex-wife were married in the Philippines and are divorced in US when we were already american citizens.
What do i need to file a petition for annulment in the Philippines or to recognize our divorce?

at the time of filing the divorce, was the petitioner already a US citizen?

yes. we were both US citizens when we filed divorced.
I can not close the insurance i have in the Philippines because they said my ex-wife is an irrevocable beneficiary. But she won't cooperate with me. The insurance company said the only thing i can do is to file annulment. should i file for an annulment or is there any other way like filing for recognition of divorce? i am a bit confused. besides, how can i do that if i can not get a copy of her naturalization certificate as we do not communicate at all as i mentioned.

you should ask the insurance company whether they will also recognize a petition for recognition of divorce. otherwise, aside from the recognition, you'll have to file another case to compel the insurance company to revoke the assignment of beneficiary.
