Good day, I hope you can give me an advice what to do on bracelet that I pawned several months ago. Last nov. 10, 2011 while paying the monthly interest of my bracelet the appraiser suddenly informed me that my bracelet was missing 9 charm out of 14 charm. I was shocked because I know for a fact that it was in good condition when I entrusted my jewelry, and now after almost a year they are informing me that it was defected. The appraiser is claiming that she overlooked the 9 missing charm on the day that I pawned it because there are many clients that day, she also told me that she made a mistake of giving me a high appraisal. what legal action should I do? please advice me.

sorry, i'm not that good with jewelry. what is a charm? what is the value of the damage, what is the value of the bracelet?

you should send a demand letter and inform their management of your discovery. if the value is not more than 100k, your remedy will be to file a small claims case. rules on sc.judiciary.gov.ph
