Is there any Phl law requirement about filing of annulment?
i live in Manila, got married in Q.C.but filed my annulment in Davao City( where my ex lives)

yes, atty. he is very negligent and I regret hiring him. I just want to make sure that there wont be a technicality. Pati po isang letter sa name ko misspelled.

hi AttyLLL, based on the RULE ON DECLARATION OF ABSOLUTE NULLITY OF VOID MARRIAGES AND ANNULMENT OF VOIDABLE MARRIAGES

I just want to ask regarding on annullment can a lawyer declare a marriage null and void to the court without any notification/knowledge from the respondent? (the petitioner knows the whereabout of the respondent and the last known address)

note: The said lawyer of the petitioner is a known politician on the city where the annulment case was filed.

respondent should be notified. if not, she can have the decision overturned for violation of due process.
