I recently sold my car to an individual, a 1998 Nissan. We both signed the bill of sales and title. Later that day after the sale have been completed the individual called me and told me the odometer was not working, and told him the sale is final. I then received a letter from a lawyer telling me that " As you know the odometer does not work, which necessarily means that any representation made about the mileage is invalid as a result the individual as canceled the cashier check." The cashiers check has been canceled!!! I am in New Mexico, any help would be sweet thanks
