if text messages can't be a valid evidence for libel... would a Facebook posts (in public) be an evidence?

What if it was already erased? Can I use the one I have printed out to prove the libelous remarks???

Please give me plenty of legal advises so I may deal with them accordingly. I am applying for a scholarship that is why I fear my husband and the girl will use the defamation case so I will be miserable like what they have done stressing me last year causing me to quit my plans of studying...

it's not really oral defamation, but libel because it is in writing. all these text messages, unless it's with consent by one of the parties, are inadmissible as a violation of the right to privacy of communication.
