i work as a security officer in a BPO industry in which no storage device are allowed. (mobile phone, camera etc.) one of the agent told me that she will file a case against me of invasion of privacy for alleged scanning her camera that was confiscated by the security personnel for security reason. we have a company policy in which storage device such as camera will be confiscated and subject for scanning and deletion of photos taken inside the company premises. i hope you may help me regarding this matter. thanks and regards.

when entering, they definitely have the right to check your bag. but when leaving you can challenge them what is their basis to ask to look in your bag.

Hi there. Can someone accuse you of "invasion of privacy" if you were the one who set up his/her online account and there is written/documented evidence that you were indeed the one who set up the account?

are you just referring to setting up the account? or did you access it afterwards without express permission?

hi good day. I'm working in a BPO co. bawal po magpasok ng camera phone sa company namin. pero unfortunately, hindi sinasadyang maipasok ko un camera phone ko. nakita po yun ng guard at na-confiscate. ang naka-state lang po sa handbook namin ay "No camera phones are allowed into the office premises (both Operations and Non Operation areas)." wala pong nakalagay dun na our phones would be subjected for opening of personal datas. may mga private pics at videos po ako dun. ang tanong ko po, if ever po buksan nila at halungkatin yun laman ng camera phone ko without my presence and permission, pwede po ba ako mag-file ng invasion of privacy? thank you very much..
