An alien borrowed me a total Php 16,000 last March 2011. He is a student alien in our country and a close friend of mine before. He owe me first 10k last March 7, 2011 and 6k on the 24th of March this year.With confidence and trust we made an oral agreement that he's going to pay the whole amount 30 days after i handed over the money.Unfortunately up until now he was not able to pay even a single centavo of the outstanding amount of money and just recently when i last asked him for the payment he is now denying his obligation.
Is the amount reasonable enough to perform a legal process?
What would be the actions that i need to do?
