a warrant of arrest can be enforced anywhere in the philippines. the case may take about a year to be resolved. or faster if you settle with the complainant

incase po nagpyansa ako hindi po ako puedeng lumabas ng bansa hanggat di natatapos ang kaso?

you are not supposed to be allowed to travel outside the country while out on bail, but if the BI is not informed many are able to do so.

Ilang years po ba para maging automatically lifted yong ganitong case(oral defamation?)2yrs na po as of now since lumabas yong warrant and till now di pa po ako nakakauwi...possible po ba na pati sa POEA hindi din sila magbibigay ng Exit Clearance kapag nagcomplain sila?thanks

Atty,I have a long overdue debt in the Philippines and i am now a foreign citizen, If i will one day go back to Phils., and I have a case against me, could it be possible for that hold departure order stop me from going back overseas,even if I use my Foreign passport with my married name on it too? It bothers me so much this problem, i wanted to pay the debt but what stops me is i have no means to pay it, the debt becomes times four due to the interest!

Yung pong boyfriend ko just filed libel against me because of an FB post which is indirectly related to him. A friend of mine confirmed this and now he filed a hold departure order. I didn't appear in any courts or received a warrant. I need to go back to Singapore dahil klngan na ako ng amo ko this July. Makakaalis po kaya ako? Lahat po ba ng nag-fifile ng HDO na aapprove? It might cause inconvenience to my employer. What should I do?

ung complainant po ba e dapat my abogado pra mkpag file ng HDO, ung sa case ko po kc atend lang ng atend ung complainant pero wla nmn po cyang abogado pti mga PAO po e umayaw n rin s knila

Hello po atty. paalis na po kasi ako ng bansa nextweek tanong ko lang po kung wala po ba akong hold departure order ? kasi po may tinakasan akong pera na halagang 7,500 sa dahilang hindi ko kayang bayaran kaya pansamantala akong nagtago. ang sabi nya idedemanda nya daw ako pero hanggang ngayon wala naman po akong natatanggap na subpoena or any demand letters mula sakanya.worried lang po ako kasi baka po pagdating ko ng airport baka harangin po ako..sana po matulungan nyo ako maraming salamat po

No! They can't put two and two together unless you need to get an NBI! Which is now irrelevant to you! Just don't get a dual citizenship!

Hi Atty.,
Tanong ko lang po, is it possible for subpoenas to be mailed kahit hindi alam ng complainant ang address mo and only knows your parents' address but the respondent doesn't live there.
If the parents of the respondent don't receive the subpoena, ano po ang mangyayari? and hindi din nila ininform ang anak nila dahil they aren't in speaking terms, possible pa rin po ba na magtuloy tuloy ang kaso?
