First of all I want to express my joy of finding this site. I have been reading posts and queries of other people who are feeling hopeless of not knowing where to find help. I am hoping that you will be able to address my concern as well to ease the emotional burden our family is going through.
My brother has an outstanding warrant of arrest and he is due to leave by the end of this month, (March) to work abroad. We do not know if he has a HDO since we have not checked yet at the Bureau of Immigration as what the moderator of this site advised the others with the same dilemma.
However, recently I found out that the name on the warrant was different from what he got in his passport. For example, his name is Juan H. Tamad but on the warrant of arrest and case file copy it was under the name of Juan Pedro Tamad. My question is, if he would risk leaving the country as scheduled, would he still be arrested at the airport by the Bureau of Immigration despite the fact that there was "Pedro" added on the name appearing from the said warrant?
The case filed against him actually originated from failing to fix and deliver the repair of a car in his car shop. If we will have the repair done on his behalf, does he still have to pay for the bail? Our family cannot produce the amount needed to cover for the bail and together with the expenses for the necessary repair of the vehicle. That's why we chose to repair the car instead since that is what we can afford for now. We were also advised by our friends to fix the car first and perhaps try to negotiate with the person who filed the complaint.
Due to financial crisis, we cannot get professional advise; it is therefore very fortunate that I found your site. Thank you in advance and hope to hear from you soon! God speed!
