This is my situation, an unknown number texted me my name, i dont really entertain unknown numbers but since the message contains my name i asked who he is. I dont know him and he told me that he got my number from my resume. Thats prohibited right? Aside from that he started texting me malicious things like asking me to have sex with him. I dont give any response to his messages but he still continues to send me that kind of stuff and that bothers me.

What can i do?

you can block the number or even better, change your number.
