purmirma po ako as co-maker sa isang kasulatan pero piece of bond paper lang kami nag pirmahan. may liability po ba din ako pag hindi makabayad yun principal?

Most likely. If the contract that you signed is not contrary to law, morals, good customs, public order, or public policy and you did not sign by mistake or no violence, intimidation or undue influence was exerted against you for you to sign the document, you can be liable.

The law grants you the benefit of excussion (di ka pwedeng singilin hanggat meron pang ari-arian ang principal).
