hi i'm currently in a company, curious lang po ako kung may nilalabag po ba silang labor code dahil ang lunch break lang po namin ay "30 Minutes" at isa lang na "15 Minutes" break time sa hapon, ang pasok po namin ay Mon-Sat 8am-5pm, i hope na ma-enlighten nyo po ako regarding this... salamat!

when i was still working in a manufacturing company, 8 working hours kami. 45 mins break pero bayad cya. but when i transferred to another company sa makati, 9-6 ang working hours namin, may 1 hr break kami pero d cya paid. kay sinusulit namin ung break namin.

possible po ba na 30 minutes ung meal break but shortened shift..say 8-4:30? may 15 minutes break pa rin in am and pm tapos 12-12:30 lng ang lunch break but will go home by 4:30? thanks

That may be feasible if agreed in your CBA or LMC. In my opinion, it is fair enough since your schedule is shortened. It is the same as having an hour break but going home at 5pm Smile

Ang lunch break po namin ay 45mins lang at may dalawa kaming 15mins break.
Ang shift namin ang 9pm-6am.
Tama po ba na 45mins lang lunch break namin?

9 hours kayo pumapasok.. so ibig sabihin meron kayong 1 hour unpaid break..

kung 45 mins at dalawang 15 mins.. so ang total break nyo eh 1 hour and 15 mins.. so tama lang yun 1 hour unpaid and 15 mins paid break..

Hi. Helping out a friend.
Their previous company only allows their employees 3 thirty minutes break. No one-hour continuous lunch. No agreements were made. No overtime pay for the compensable break hour.. they reprimand employees going beyond 30 minutes of break. is that legal?

if it's a 8 hours straight shift, then yes, since the 30 minutes is considered a paid break. i.e. shift is 8-4, 6-2, 2-10, 10-6.

for a 9 hour shift, usually it has a 1 hour break. ie shift is 8-5 with 12-1 as the lunch break.
