Good evening Sir, my question regarding employment contract is related to the question I had last time. The company where my friend works was sold. The new owner retained them and they were issued an employment contract. Their contract states acknowledgement of their commencement date mentioning that it was from the previous company. Is it right? The Company also would like to remove some of their benefits, can they do that? What if they resign will they still get the separation pay? Thank you.

if they resign, they are entitled to separation pay from the old employer, not the new one.
