My father has been married before, but then his wife left him with two kids. After 9 years, he met my mom and they two lived in together. They had 6 children, including me as the eldest. Please advise how to proceed to make their 'living in' legal or is there a chance they can get married? They had been together for 24 years now.

he can try to have his marriage annulled or if there is basis, have his wife declared presumptively dead.
