I have this clarification about my employment Status. My appointment states "the BOT hereby appoints you as an Accounting Clerk on a casual basis for (3) mos effective August 16, 2010. A periodic Assessment of your performance will be made to determine if you will qualify for consideration to a probationary status."
I was never informed of any evaluation and was allowed to continue working. This is now my 10th month of continuous service to the company. Does it make me a regular employee by default? On my understanding, from Aug. 16-Nov. 16 was my casual status period, since i was allowed to continue working, after 3 mos i was already a probational employee. Do i have the right to assert my status to regular employee? Up to now they dont give me any evaluation & appointment letter. What should I do?
