hi i`d like some help about this please. let`s say for example, i have been registered as an illegitimate child by my mom to make my visa process a little easier for her. now i`m already using my new name here abroad and is planning to go into a university but the problem is that all my credentials in the philippines are named after my true name, so i am unable to use them. the question is that, what are my options in fixing this issue? what are the implications on me if in case i report this? mom is married to a japanese and she already has a permanent visa, if in case i report this will she be liable and will her visa be revoked? Sad

that's all entirely up to the school and the japanese government.

are your parents actually married? and your father still alive?

thank you po for the reply.

mom faked another birth certificate of me making me an illegitimate child and registering it late in NSO para po maging madali pagpunta ko abroad. my name and age were also faked making me have 2 different identities.

now, i want to fix this po sana. so i can use my credentials sa pinas dito sa abroad. if in case i report this to the immigration po ba, will i be given some sort of amnesty? what are the implications po kaya o mga bagay na pwede po mangyari o maging kaso sakin o sa mom if marereport po ito?

buhay papo ang dad ko and i called my school if they can change my name to my other name, but they told me it was illegal, which i already have an idea in the first place Sad

ano po kaya ang dapat ko gawin?

my guess is that japanese authorities will not not be happy with you.

if there is a birth certificate with the name you want to use, then ask the school what is their policy to have your records corrected to conform to the birth certificate.
