hello po..im currently 23, and my fiancee is turning 25..we want to get married in the phil consulate in riyadh.. what if our parents do not want to give us the affidavit of parental advice..can the marriage still be possible?i need help. thank you po.

yes, you can still get married at the consulate. i just don't know how they will comply with the publication requirement.

atty ang age namin is 25 y/o gusto namin magpa-civil marriage...pero ayaw ng parents ng girlfriend ko....panu po yun?..pwede po ba kami magpakasal kahit hindi sila payag, kami na lang ng gf ko?..dito lang kami sa pinas pwede po ba yun witnesses na lang kunin namin para matuloy civil namin atty.?...pwede po ba nila ako kasuhan at ipahuli?...need ko po ang sagot ninyo atty. naguguluhan kasi kami eh..salamat po

at atty pahabol po...ano po ba mga requirements ng civil marriage dito sa pinas?...pwede po ba sa manila city hall kami kumuha ng mga kailangan, kahit sa las piñas sya at taga bulacan naman po ako?... salamat po uli atty wait namin sagot nyo..godbless...more power!..

you can request for a marriage license anywhere, and it will be valid every where. it is not a crime even if the parents are against it. here is a sample list of requirements: http://www.tagumcity.gov.ph/civil_registry/data/requirements%20for%20marriage.pdf

I recommend you do it by the book.

kasi buntis na sya kaya gusto ko na makasal kami agad baka kasi alisan ako ng karapatan sa bata ng parents nya dahil ndi kami kasal..kasi nagpaplano na sila na sa kanila tumira at lumaki ang bata gayong hindi pa ito naipapanganak..


pede po ba akong alisan ng karapatan kapag ndi kami nakasal atty?..pede ba yun?..
