is it possible not to include the spouse as the beneficiary in the last will and testament?

if yes, would that mean that it is possible also that the spouse will not receive anything after the death of the decedent?

by law, spouse already owns half of conjugal properties. the decedent can only will out what he owns by himself, and of that part, the spouse has a part reserved by law.
