CAR ACCIDENT

im a new member here i would like to ask for advice for my situation.

Last saturday morning 4:00am i got into an accident , my vehicle collided with a motorcycle it so happens that at that time i was tired from work and was going home , i fell in and out of sleep driving as soon i open my eyes i was on the other lane and hit a motorcycle with 2 passengers in it

i immediately brought the victims to the nearest hospital , the driver is critical and the passenger is ok. im currently supporting the victim at the hospital but the bills are racking up and my insurance can only help so much, sooner or later ill run out of money to pay for the hospital .

im really worried about my situation , i know it was my fault i have already taken the responsibility and supported them.

as of now, no case have been filed.

i have a good communication with the parents and they for now have no problem with me. im just afraid that when the time comes when i got nothing more to give they will file a case against me

i would like to ask for your advice on this on what legal steps to be taken

Sir, I am a police investigator. And whenever a reckless imprudence (EITHER RESULTING IN PHYSICAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY) committed within our AOR,it is our practice to impound the vehicle of the party at fault and submit it as an evidence. And, it has been years this way, until one day a person who introduced himself as a lawyer, questioning our procedures.My question is, don't we have really an authority or legal basis to impound such vehicle. Please help me with this one sir.

i would like to ask a legal advice again on my situation, im currently paying for the hospital bills of the victim , and the billing are pilling up every day.

i have no more money and i have run out of people to borrow , i only earn 10000 a month and plus i support my family and i have no property to sell , i already sold my car and my motor other than that i have no more, i spent around 200,000 already medical bills alone plus 100k from the insurance and i gave it all to them.

The family wont take my advice to transfer to another hospital that i can afford. i have already informed them of my situation and they said the cant help me because the have no money as well .

i need your advice atty. on what to do in my situation ... when the time comes that i cant pay will i go to jail ,im 24 years old and my family relies on me for support. if this continue we will have no more food to eat or even pay the loan i made because of my situation.

geromeray, if you no longer have any money, then perhaps your best bet is is to be honest with the family that's it as far as you can go.

wait for them to file a case and defend as best you can. it will be months before it reaches the court, and bail is less than P10,000. you'll have to wear them out until they are ready to settle for something you can afford.

even if you are convicted, you can apply for probation.

intersection accident, may nakabangga ako motor, injured ung nasa motor

galing ung motor sa left side ko, tas yung papasukan nya ay no entry na kalsada. ung daan na yun ay sabi daw nya na tuwing linggo lang no entry, ang alam ko kasi may daan dun , nung nakita ko no entry, dumiretso na ko, tas un di ko na sya napansin e, mabilis sya nasa harap ko na, ayun bunggo

may pulis na nagasikaso samin, walang nasabi kung sino may kasalanan, pinapili kami kung via process, magkakasundo kami or pagsampa ng kaso. nagkasundo na lang kmi nung nakamotor na insurance na magusap sa damage sa sasakyan naming dalawa. ngayon wala syang insurance sa sarili nya, injured sya gusto pamedical/xray, tas gusto nya ako sumagot kasi wala raw silang pera.

napagusapan namin bgyan ko sya 500 pamedical, nilista din yun ng pulis, na nagbigay ako 500 pangmedical nya. tas nagpirmahan pa kami sa police station. pero pala di ako binigyan ng copy nung pinirmahan namin, at yung police report pinapabalikan sakin bukas.

after naman nun nagpunta sila bahay, na pano raw pag kulang yung 500 kasi walang rin daw sila pera, o naawa naman ako, sabi ko sige magbbgay ako pero hindi ko sasagutin lahat, sabi ko may kasalanan din naman sya. ok naman umalis naman sila pagkatapos ng usapan namin, nagpunta na ospital.

nung andun na tinext na ko na ang xray daw nya ay umabot ng 1550, xray pa lang un. sabi ko sige 1000 un na lang talaga kaya ko. tapos nagtext ulit na magpapatetano pa raw sya, 1500 yun, pano raw un wala raw sya pambili. sabi ko sige kuya sasagutin ko na ung xray mo, pero diba ang usapan natin kanina di ko naman sasagutin lahat.

ayun tapos yung wife na nya nagtetext sakin, na kesyo raw d naman daw pede yung 1500 lang ibigay ko kasi raw kung sila pa sasagot nung ibang gastos e wala na raw silang pnggagastos para sa anak nila, pano daw kung halimbawang 3 araw d pumasok asawa nya e mababawasan pa raw sweldo nun at kakapusin na raw sila.

d ako pumapayag, sabi nya sige sa baranggay na lang daw magusap. e sabi ko nasa pulis na ung report kaya dun na lang ulit magusap kung gusto nya.

tapos yun, ano po ba maadivse nyo? pasensya na po kung mahaba

for 1,000.00 more, i'd recommend settlement with a quitclaim.
