car accident

the other night, i got into a car accident, since it was minor we agreed to settle it right away, but upon sliding to the side of the road my partner who is now driving sped away...it really was a minor accident the other party even mentioned a minimal fee...it wasn't our fault, but he being a v-hire driver, i acceded to his demand which was a mere 200 pesos...my question is, what may be the best remedy on my part for this joke, i haven't slept since last night...i don't think he knows me or my cars plate no. since i just got it blottered today and there is no report of his blotter...pls. help

the facts are not clear. were you driving your vehicle? who is this partner who sped away?

are you saying that you intended to pay P200, but the driver of your vehicle sped away so you weren't able to pay? kindly clarify.

i was the one driving the vehicle sir, when we got into the accident and my batchmate friend took over. he got startled and went off...
i was willing to pay off 200.

it was stupid of me but i wasn't able to convince him to stop since it happened in a flash...

legally you were not responsible for leaving the other party. if you really intend to find him and pay the P200, go to Camp Karingal and request for the owner's address if you got the plate no.
