My employer doesn't want to give me a copy of the contract I signed. Is it just ok if it's only her who has the copy? What should I do about this?

To Mr. Bluejust

Your boss'refusal to give you a copy is not valid. A contract is a meeting of minds between two contracting parties. In case of labor contract, one copy should definitely be furnished to the employee as it is a piece of evidence of your employment agreement with them. You should ask your boss the reason behind such refusal. If refused, you have the option whether you would still want to continue working with her.
