My family has acquired thru inheritance from my Lolo a piece of land with a very old 2 old apt buildings erected during the late 60's. This particular property has been the witness of our growing years in Manila. It is a total of 420 SQM, situated on J. P. Rizal St., MAKATI CITY Philippines. As of this writing the said property has been divided equally amongst the 4 of them siblings - My DAD, Aunt Terry; the only true sister, by blood of my dad; Aunt NING and Aunt ISAY. They have separate TITLES each of them.
May Aunt Terry (Single, never been married) just died last Dec 28, 2017. In 2004 both my DAD, who is now 89 yrs old, still strong and my Aunt Terry was able to execute and left a HOLOGRAPHIC WILL, saying that her share of the property be equally divided amongst us 9 (Nine) her only true nephew and NIECES. /What would be the best way to deal with this --thru DEED of DONATION OR DEED OF SALE, considering there is a new TRAIN LAW....Or since my Aunt died before that law is in effect? All of us 7 siblings are here in the US now and are now US citizens; 2 other siblings are still there in the Philippines. WE are aware that we have deal with the BIR/ASSESORS OFFICE and what have you?....Saan kami makaka mura ng pagbabayad ng Taxes?,,,,,,Please advice us on the step by step on this situation.....Pls. help...........Sincerely, ATM
