Overtime during training days

Good day mga legal experts,

Ask ko lang kung considered as overtime yung training na for example ay 10 hours ang inabot during weekdays

At kung pumatak naman ng holiday, or restday, considered na buong day na overtime yung training?

Gudmorning ask q lang po qng makukuha q pa ba or ibibigay pa ba ng agency q ung last salary q kapag na terminate na aq sa company q..thank you

SECTION 6. Lectures, meetings, training programs. — Attendance at lectures, meetings, training programs, and other similar activities shall not be counted as working time if all of the following conditions are met:

(a) Attendance is outside of the employee's regular working hours;

(b) Attendance is in fact voluntary; and

(c) The employee does not perform any productive work during such attendance.


Medyo naguguluhan lang po kasi ako sa article na yan about overtime. Meron din po kasi ako nabasa na dapat bayad yung overtime kapag nagtraining ka outside ng company premises. Can someone enlighten us regarding this. Thank you

No sir.. I am referring to total number of hours of training is 10 hours. Training started at 7:30am and finished by 6:30pm

Well then it's only 2 hours overtime not 10 hours overtime

^ problem sir, as per our hr di daw bayad ang overtime kapag may training dahil wala naman daw work na ginawa. Tama po ba siya or hindi?

Example nga po atty sa tatlong condition.

Yung scenario ko po is pinadala po ako sa isang training sa isang venue for 4 days tapos yung per day na training hours ay 10 hours. Yung training po na yung ay may kinalaman sa work namin.

(a) Attendance is outside of the employee's regular working hours; - OT yung tinatanong mo so it is outside regular working hours. So check

(b) Attendance is in fact voluntary; and - you havent mentioned this.

(c) The employee does not perform any productive work during such attendance. - training lang naman? walang work na pinagawa sa inyo?
