Ask ko lang po sana kung may possiblity pa na mabura yung record ko s nbi 15 years ago na po at nun makasuhan ako ng qualified thieft, Voluntary naman po na droppes yung case gawa nun complainant, kaso po may records padin ako, ano po ba ang dapat kung gawin para po makakuha ko ng nbi clerance?

You should go to the nearest NBI center and have your name cleared. Bring the necessary documents that prove that the case against you was dropped so that the NBI personnel can update your status.

Hi atty. kumuha po ako ng NBI and nung pick up na sya last week pero pinapa punta ko sa Main branch.
i have a case before pero inurong ung case and dismissed na sya. ano po kaylangan kong dalin since wala po ako copy ng dismissal.
pwede na po ba un affidavit of desistance?

You should have received a copy of the decision of the court via mail.

Ask the clerk of court where the case was filed for a copy of your case as proof of its dismissal before going to the NBI. While the affidavit of desistance may help, the best proof for the case being dismissed is the decision itself.

Hello atty. i have a question regardaing malversification of public funds. Is that a criminal case? And if so, will you be issued an nbi clearance still?
