I was charged with 2 separate crimes. The first charge was dismissed provisionally two months ago because the private complainant was no longer attending the hearings.
If I plead guilty to a lesser offense for the second charge, will I be allowed to apply for probation? Will the court even grant my application? If yes, what will be the consequences if the first charge would be revived later on?
