-the company sponsors a company outing
-a few employees cannot attend the said company outing due to an event or activity outside the company that coincides with the date of the outing itself.
i am asking this because the HR in our company was asking for an explanation letter why we cannot attend the said outing but also asked for an explanation as to why the company will not be liable for possible violation of Family Welfare Program as per Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) resolution in order to validate our reason for not attending the outing, and yet they say that the company "does not coerce" the employees to attend and it's pretty ironic.
