Arresto Menor

Hi there!

would like to seek an advise..

me and my family met an accident last March 18 around 7-7:30pm, somewhere in Nueva Ecija while riding Coda Bus line going back home (cubao) from Sagada.

The bus we were riding suddenly goes to the other lane and slammed into small post and got caught in barbwire - reason that this helped stopped the bus from falling and running over the houses on that area. (was told that the driver almost hit a single motor and got nervous)

fortunately none of us got hurt! but the trauma of not knowing what was happening, where were are (are we on the edge of a cliff? or where?) since it was dark - is something not to be taken lightly..

Thank God that 1. no vehicle was on the other lane when the bus went across the other side of the road. 2. good thing there was a post and barbwire that helped stopped and slow down the bus else the bus will go down, roll and slam into the house

Coda bus offers to refund our ticket (1 way, Sagada to Cubao P980 per person) and ticket we bought from Five star bus just to get us back home.

I want them to understand that if it wasnt for their driver (which by the way is a probationary lang daw) we will not experience the shock and trauma.

should we demand for anything other than refund? are we entitled?

i dont want to sound like face money but so irritated how they handle the situation. we only receive an apology only AFTER we sent text message and on the next day pa!

no email / letter of apology was sent.

they answer my call for the past couple of days but today - NONE!

help pls. what to do next?

thank you

if you want to purse damages, consider a small claims case. http://sc.judiciary.gov.ph/smallclaims/SMALL%20CLAIMS%20PAMPHLET.pdf
