good day.. concern po ito ng kaibigan ko. 5yrs na po sya sa company na pinag tatrabahoan nya and for some reason bigla po pinatawag at pinag resign. advised to resign daw po and have 1 month to look for another job. head po sya ng kanilang department. single mom of 2. tanong lang po kailangan nga ba nya mag pasa ng resignation letter? eh hindi nman nya kagustohan ang mag resign sapagkat kailangan nya ang trabaho. and ano po ba dapat nyang matanggap kung sakaling mag papasa siya ng resignation?

nope, she does not. May reason ba why she was asked to resign? Being advised to resign and forced resignation are 2 different things.

i asked her sa reason pero di nya rin alam bakit. basta pinagpapas sya ng resignation letter. pero sa mga naririnig ko sa office sa other department dahil daw sa mga purchase order na na didelay just because sa mga supplier. which is di nman siguro nya controlado yan. purchasing head kasi sya. and sa industry namin sa construction some sa engineering team nag e.urgent ng mga materials na minsan hindi / wala stock sa suppliers namin. na warned na sya before dahil sa delay but again di naman mapipilit yung mga nag susupply if wala avail..

hindi nya kelangan mag resign, although if meron syang nagawang terminable offence better na magresign sya.

wala po sya offence na nagawa. ano po dapat gawin. at if mag pas sya resignation ano mga dapat na matanggap nya?

ang nagpapa resign kasi sa kanya is yung boss na talaga.

Wala sya matatanggap kung magreresign sya, kahit yung mismong boss pa ng kompanya ang nagpaparesign sa kanya. Kaya kung wala naman syang offense, wag sya magreresign. Kung i-dismiss sya ng walang dahilan, mag-file sya ng illegal dismissal case. Wag sya magreresign kasi wala syang matatanggap na kahit ano. Applicable lang ang separation pay kung ang pagkakatanggal sa kanya ay based sa mga authorized causes na sinasabi ng batas.
