Inquire po tungkol sa travel refund

Good day po. My wife has a Php 3000+ worth of travel allowances from June- December 2010. We've computed the said unrefunded travel allowances and it sums up to Php 4800.00 up to the present. The principal of the school is holding the last year travel allowances because she was very interested with the travel allowances. She said that she submitted the report to the DEPED division office regarding the absences of my wife and wait until my wife will be deducted at the official payroll. I don't buy it because I think this is one of the delaying tactics which the principal is very expert/skilled in doing unrighteous things. My wife is very scared at the principal and I want to stand at the rights of my wife. Sir, please, do I have the right to ask or demand the principal on when she will refund the said amount of money in behalf of my wife? I'm really tired hearing those corruption going on in their school. I wish COA, will assess a special audit in where the MOOEE budget went. Well, my only concern is the refund. Please, hihingi po ako ng ideya kung ano po ang legal na pamamaraan para po dito. Mabuhay po kayo at maraming salamat po.

Rightly or wrongly, it's not easy for your wife to fight the boss. what i would do first would be to make an inquiry in writing and fashion it into a courteous demand letter. have it received by the office of the principal.
