Oral Contract Agreement

Is Oral Agreement valid?
There is NO Written Contract Agreement between me and a girl who used to received my cash when I was still outside the country for her educational support but she was not able to spend it for that understanding.
Second oral agreement was I sent my cash to her personal bank account for safe keeping but she run away, hide & intentionally cut our communication right there and then when I went back to Philippines.
The Reason that I sent my money to her for safe keeping was that I'm not allowed to open a personal bank account on my country of employment and she's the only one that I trusted at that time.
Can I recover my cash? Is this a criminal case?

No we didn't discuss any about Oral Agreement in this Forum - most of the cases that I read whose recorded in Chan Robles has a different scenario against my case and there was a Written Contract at the same time all of those are elevated in the Court of Appeals.

I have read a case in this forum about fraud wherein a woman pretends to be single and has obtained cash from her foreign boyfriend and you did advice him to purpose a filing of case but it's not clear to me because it is still difficult to file criminal case without the written contract - it will create loaf hole to the respondent.

Yes we did file the case but until now the Summon
was not yet served to the respondent.

oral agreements are valid, but difficult to prove if denied.
