My cousin was hit by a rock while walking near a building being built in Makati.
His head injury needed medical attention and he needed to take a rest for a couple of weeks to recover. He was unable to report to work for more than two weeks because of this accident.
The safety officer is only willing to pay for his medical expense. He even dared my cousin to file a lawsuit if he wants to because they won't pay more than the medical bills.
Can my cousin sue for damages as well?
