my cousin and his wife was charged in court for illegal construction. (they were given 3 notices by the inspector prior to filing of case but the 2nd notice was not given directly to them instead it was handed to a relative which refuses to received the notice but physically accept it and my cousin got it only a day after the 3rd notice has been given.)
1.0 one case has been filed by the inspector from city engineer building officials office.
2.0 another has been filed by their neighbor
