Hi, gusto ng pinsan ko na papalitan ang apelyido nya kasi sa birth certificate nya ang surname nya eh yung surname ng nanay nya nung dalaga. Tapos nakalagay sa Father is UNKNOWN. Ang nagparehistro is yung nanay at yung komadrona na no-read, no-write. Ang problema, 1989 pa namatay ang tatay nya, tapos yung birth certificate nya late registration in 2002 na nga mali pa ang surname. Pangatlo syang anak sa 5 magkakapatid. Yung baptismal nya is apelyido ng tatay nya ang nakalagay. Andun din ang pangalan ng tatay nya.
Another problem hindi kasal ang nanay at tatay nya. Pero alam naman ng lahat na tatay nya ang tatay nya in fact xerox copy yung mukha nya ng tatay nya. Sabi daw ng PAO sa registrar sa munosipyo ng Navotas wala na daw pag-asa mapalitan ang apelyido nya. Totoo po ba to?

yes since wala kayong way para establish yung filiation ng anak at ama since patay na yung tatay.

pero buhay pa yung nanay... di ba pwedeng mag-affidavit na lang sya na yung tito ko talaga ang tatay ng pinsan ko?

Eh hindi naman yung nanay ang dapat mag acknowledge kundi yung tatay. filiation is established either by pag acknowledge nung tatay or thru DNA test.
