Hi i just want to ask if mapapawalang bisa ba yung kasal namin pag hindi ako pumirma sa pinadala nyang divorce paper sakin
Anyway american citizen po sya and dito po kami kinasal and i just found out na nag file po sya ng divorce nung june 21 nang wala akong kaalam alam then ngaun nalaman ko rin po na may babae sya dun sa guam ang sabi nya po hindi ko daw po kailangan pumirma para magrant yung divorce na nafile nya pwede po bang mangyari yun at dito po kami kinasal eh ano po ba pwedeng gawin kong aksyon regarding dito and may mga pananakot pa po syang ginagawa sakin na ippost nya daw mga pictures ko
salamat po sana po matulungan nyo ko God bless po

kung hindi sya pinoy, then he is not covered by the Philippine law kahit pa sa pinas kayo kinasal. hence, pwede ka nya divorce ayon sa batas ng America.

Eh ma aapprove po ba yung divorce kahit na hindi ako mag agree dito or mag sign po?

Ma aanulled din po ba ako dito satin if ever na ipasa nya na yung divorce paper dito sa bansa natin salamat po 🙇🏻‍♀️🙏🏻

Yes! With American law, your divorce will be approve with or without your cooperation. And no it will not be annulled automatically but when the divorce papers is forwarded to NSO it will be acknowledge and recognise.

Actually, the recognition of a foreign divorce must be by court decree. It's not automatic. You have to file a petition in court for that purpose.

it depends saan court and sino ang lawyer mo. sabi mas maganda if yung lawyer mo sanay na hawakan ang mga ganitong kaso . like recognition of foreign divorce.. sabi 6 to 7 months.. again depende nga sa lawyer.. sometimes almost a year daw..
