Hi, good afternoon po. I just wanna know if my son can possibly change his surname (which is his father's) to my maiden name? We are still married but part ways more than 2 years ago. What could be the requirements, how much will it cost and how long will it take? thanks so much and more power.

You would have to go to court but I doubt that your petition will be granted. Your child is the legitimate son of your husband. His surname is his evidence of filiation. Why would you want to obliterate that when legally, you are still married to your son's father?
