Hi i just want to seek advice, I am a public official,a city councilor, i am not married but i have 5 children, the father of my children has been separated since we become couple but they are not separated legally. All my children did not use his surname, they use mine but he acknowledged them all in their birth certificates. We have been living together for 13 years. His wife has her own family too. We are living together, and ever since his two children with his first wife are living with us. I took care of them from their childhood up to now. The other one is already graduated college. I am single and i heard that my rival in politics will file a case against me. Immorality Case. What do you think is the best thing i need to do. My husband is now processing his annulment with his first wife. What if thye file a case and then the annulment case will prosper, is it helpful to the case. Please give me advice what to do.

Thank you...

Technically, this person is not your husband since he is still legally married to someone else.

You are basically committing the crime of concubinage. Even if the declaration of nullity will be granted (I doubt that your live-in partner has a ground for annulment), the fact remains that you knew he was married to someone else and that you continued to live with him under one roof as husband and wife.

Hire a lawyer.
