Hi, Good day Attorneys.

I am very grateful for a forum like this, where we can have professional opinions and advices from attorneys.

My problem is the recent theft done by an employee we had. We own a petshop and this employee is our main caretaker of the said shop. Because of other concerns and being busy, I was not able to monitor it from time to time, personally.

It was only after a few months that I audited our sales through an installed CCTV that I discovered that this employee has not been remitting the correct amount based on the # of items sold as shown on CCTV. Amount stolen is minimum of 300,000 and this might be more as I am not yet done reviewing the footages.

She has gone into hiding in the provinces and blocked me on Facebook and other social media sites through which I can reach her. I have also gone to the police station para ipa-blotter.

My question is.. Because I really want to prevent her from victimizing other employers, is there a way to make her unable to claim an NBI clearance without all the hearings and case procedures because these may financially cause a lot for me.... Sad

Please let me know if this is possible.

Thank you very in advance for your help!

The only way to do this is to file a criminal case against the person.

And this will require all the case procedures, until she is found guilty..?Only then will she not be able to get an NBI clearance in the future?
