I am very grateful for a forum like this, where we can have professional opinions and advices from attorneys.
My problem is the recent theft done by an employee we had. We own a petshop and this employee is our main caretaker of the said shop. Because of other concerns and being busy, I was not able to monitor it from time to time, personally.
It was only after a few months that I audited our sales through an installed CCTV that I discovered that this employee has not been remitting the correct amount based on the # of items sold as shown on CCTV. Amount stolen is minimum of 300,000 and this might be more as I am not yet done reviewing the footages.
She has gone into hiding in the provinces and blocked me on Facebook and other social media sites through which I can reach her. I have also gone to the police station para ipa-blotter.
My question is.. Because I really want to prevent her from victimizing other employers, is there a way to make her unable to claim an NBI clearance without all the hearings and case procedures because these may financially cause a lot for me....
Please let me know if this is possible.
Thank you very in advance for your help!
