Surname Change PLS HELP

Good day everyone! Sana po may makatulong saken kasi wala po akong idea san magstart. Gusto ko pong malaman pano papalitan surname ng kuya ko (legitimate child ng Papa ko) at ng younger brother ko (half brother, hindi anak ng biological papa ko). Tatlo kameng magkakapatid at ako lang nagdadala ng apelyido ng Papa ko, yung kuya ko naman dala ang surname ng mama ko nung dalaga pa sya. Gusto din po sana namen palitan surname ng half brother namen ng surname ng Papa ko even if di sya totoong anak. Pano po ba? Anong first step at gano katagal? Kuya ko of legal age na while yung isa is under age pa. Sana po may makatulong since walang gana ang mama ko mag asikaso ng gantong issue sa family namen.

P.S. Wala kameng contact dun sa Papa ng half brother ko. At kinasal parents ko around yr 2010 at 2011.

1. Your older brother can carry your father's surname but first he has to apply that his parents were married, and that he is the child of your father. Sino ang nakalagay na tatay sa birth certificate niya?

2. Unfortunately your half-brother can only use your father's surname, the legal way, if your father adopts him, since he is not the biological child of your father.

Yes po, name ni Papa ang nakalagay sa birth cert ng kuya ko.

At pano po ba ang process for adoption? Kelangan po ba talaga yun? Kasi si Papa narin nagpalaki sa half brother ko eh.

It doesn't matter. It's a crime to lie and conceal the true paternity of a person in a public record.

If your father is not the biological father then he cannot be placed as the father of your half-brother unless he adopts your half-brother.

Good day atty ask ko lng Po un case NG student ko. Gmit nya UN surname ng father nya, Hindi kasal ang parents nya. Nang hiningan ko sila ng PSA, surname NG mother nya nkalagay SA last name nya though nkpirma nmn c father nya SA likod ng PSA na Ina acknowledge nya ang bata. Kaso NSA rule Po nmin s school n sundin ang name NG BATA SA PSA so ang ending nabago ang surname NG BATA gamit ang surname NG nanay nya. Savi ko SA tatay dapat my nkalagay SA annotation ng live birth SA upper right na inaallow ang bata n gamitin ang father's surname kaso wla pong nklagay. Ang question Po dto is maihahabol p po b SA municipal registry ang pglagay ng annotation SA live birth eh Kung may record n SA PSA? The child still has to file an administrative petition for correction of entry attaching the father's affidavit of consent to use his surname. THEY WILL NEED THE HELP OF A NOTARY PUBLIC TO DO THIS. The last time I checked only lawyers are allowed to be notaries public except in very very remote areas where there are no practicing lawyers.

The local civil registrar is under the PSA. The petition for correction of entry is coursed through the local civil registrar.
