Monthly salary computation in different number of days

Good afternoon.

I am so glad to join here.

I would like to ask the monthly salary or fix salary payment for regular or permanent employee.
I always had a confusion because we practice it to semi-monthly by 1-15 and 16-30 or 16-31.
How it will be computed the fixed salary in regardless the number of days per pay period?
Example: 15,720 is the basic income divided into two because for the semi-monthly based, so it is 7,860.
However the #of days in pay period was not always the same as 13 days or 104 hours that would be equivalent to the basic income. Is it necessary to compute the semi-monthly to 96 hours or still in 104 hours because it was only 12 days working days in a pay period to get the computation for their government contribution (SSS/PhilHealth/HDMF)
