Hi, i just want to seek for your advice.

I have a regular subordinate employee who is absent today, 28th April (special-non working Hol) due to unacceptable LBM reason, wherein I believe that he will file it as a SL by the time he return to work which is on Tuesday 2nd of May,as we don't have work on 1st of May. My question here is, Does he still entitled for a holiday pay on 1st of May even though he is absent today? thank you in advance for your advice.

He needs to file it as SL for April 28 so that he will be paid on May 1. If April 28 is not paid (if you disapproved the SL), then he wont be paid on May 1.
