What would you do if someone tells you that they are going to kill you? Even if this was said during the heat of argument, obviously this should be taken very seriously. If you report this to the police to file in a blotter, what will that accomplish? Also, how can you provide proof if the threat was only done verbally?
Basically, how can you ensure that the person who did this is prevented from actually doing the threat, and also ensure he or she knows that they cannot do that and go unpunished?
