Hi,

We purchased a house under Cxxxxxy. We are paying it on a monthly basis and we never missed any payments.

We have a request about a year ago regarding some improvements on the house before they start building it. The request was not to install the CR on the ground floor and provide provision for sliding door on the side. They said that we need to request for it and thats what we did. After a few months, they said that it was denied which we accepted openly.

Until when we visited our house and saw that the house besides us have the same request as I did but they were approved and the sliding door was installed. That's what got us surprised! I talked to the owner of the house and they said that Crxxxxa approved their request. They said that they are on Bank Financing also same as we and we have the same model unit.

Now we contacted Crxxxia and told them about it, they just said to make a written request again which was denied again. The reason is that they don't allow house revisions.

Just wondering why we are denied while the others are not. I'm not sure if I can sue them for this. If they don't allow house revisions, they shouldn't allow it to all not just for selected individuals.

I hope you can advise us on what we should do about it, will I just let them do that to us?

if you really wish to act on this, your best remedy is to file a civil case for damages. you can begin first with a demand letter. your basis is abuse of right.

the hard part for you is how to convince your neighbor to testify for you. you will need their testimony.
