Our company was acquired by another company and the selling process is expected to close this year. There were no announcement yet if they are absorbing us or not. They are changing the name of our old company.

1. Are we getting a seperation pay due to this acquisition?
2. In case they decide to absorb and continue our tenure, are we getting a seperation pay as mandated by labor laws in the Phil?
3. What are their legal grounds for NOT paying us, in case they decide to take that choice?

answers:
#1. No, not unless they decide to close your company.
#2. IF they close your company and absorb the employees to the new company, you will be given a choice if you want to continue your tenure or be separated from the company and receive separation pay.
#3. As long as they do NOT close the company nor terminate your services, they do NOT need to pay you separation
